Cell-Free DNA Collection Tube

The Cell-Free DNA Collection Tube is a vacuum storage tube that can be directly used for the stable storage of Cell-free DNA , microbial DNA and nucleated cells in whole blood. It is prepared by pre-installing a specially formulated blood protective agent in a vacuum blood collection tube. The protective agent has the functions of preventing blood coagulation and blood cell fragmentation, inhibiting nuclease activity, protecting cell surface antigens, maintaining cell morphology, and maintaining the stability of blood components.

This product can be directly used for animal blood collection. After the blood sample is fully mixed with the pre-installed protective agent, it can be stored at room temperature, which better meets the researchers’ needs for short-term storage and transportation of blood samples, and provides guarantees for the separation and extraction of samples such as blood microbial DNA, plasma free DNA, and blood free nucleated cells, as well as other subsequent experiments.

The FEATURES OF PRODUCTS

  • Stable free DNA

The preservation solution contains anticoagulants and cell and nucleic acid protectants. While preventing blood samples from clotting, it can effectively protect the integrity of red blood cells and nucleated cells, stabilize the level of free DNA in blood samples, and prevent degradation.

  • Convenient storage and transportation

The blood samples collected in this product for free DNA analysis can be stably transported for 7 days and stored statically for 14 days in an environment of 4~37° C.

  • No cross-linking reaction

cfDNA has no cross-linking reaction with other biological molecules (such as proteins).

Application relevance

The detection of nucleic acid components in blood, especially the detection and analysis of free DNA (cfDNA) in plasma, is an important area in current disease diagnosis methods. Studies have found that there is only a very small amount of cfDNA (about 5-30ng/ml) in healthy plasma samples, and the increase in the level of cfDNA in peripheral blood is related to the occurrence of many clinical diseases.
